Yes, it is possible to sell your house in 9 days even when there are “no buyers”.
The way you do it is briefly this.
You advertise a weekend showing of your house and an open auction where you will sell your house to the highest bidder by Sunday night.
You prepare some information that you give out to people when they call you from your ads.
The ads include Craigslist, and newspaper, plus perhaps signs you post around the neighborhood.
So you have about 40 - 100 people who will look at your house. Why? Because they want to “steal” your house. They want to get it for next to nothing.
You see, if the house is going to sell for $200,000, you start at $50,000. That gets people coming to look because they want that incredible bargain.
But once you conduct the auction, which is done on the phone, actually, you end up with two or three serious bidders, and one will end up with the house. And the house won’t sell for $50,000. It will sell for what it’s worth, maybe $180,000. Who knows. Maybe $150,000. Whatever it sells for, you can now go to settlement knowing you exposed your house to the market, and the market has spoken.
